About Me
I’ve worked in the charity and international development sector for over 25 years now. I have a special interest in the design and operational delivery of personal and organisational effectiveness programmes.
I have designed, implemented and overseen a range of extremely complex programmes in the UK, Malawi and Nepal.
This has included programmes focused on trafficking in persons, child justice, and the rehabilitation and reintegration of prisoners with a particular focus on children in prisons.
Over time, I developed a training methodology and trained people in this method all around the world.
My interest in social justice and experience in programme design and delivery over time has reached the lives of thousands of people, particularly in developing countries.

I am certified in Reality Therapy and have specialised particularly in cognitive behavioural work in wild and remote places. I have worked in diverse environments in Europe, South America, Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, UK, Greenland, and Canada.
I’ve led or taken part in many walking, mountaineering, canoeing, sea- & wild water kayaking, expeditions, and have also travelled extensively in remote places by bicycle, motorcycle and on horseback. Nowadays, I mostly travel by bicycle and have cycled extensively in Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Until recently, I lived and worked in Nepal and Malawi for nearly a decade. I am keen to share my experiences and practise through consultancy and am enjoying re-acquainting myself with some of the remoter parts of the UK.
